Our client is a global Engineering Design and Project Management Firm. On the heels of successfully growing their market share during and post pandemic, with greater than 24+ months of project pipelines, their Building Services group is expanding their Mechanical Engineering service line across Ontario. You would be groomed to be their next Mechanical Department Manager
Job Duties:
Mechanical Engineering and Design including but not limited to:
Heat transfer calculations
Heating and cooling equipment sizing
Pipe sizing and pump selection
Sizing pipes for domestic water and sanitary drain systems
Sizing duct systems for air distribution systems
Control schematics and sequence of operations
Layout of fire protection systems
Feasibility studies and building condition assessments
Communicate with clients, contractors and sales reps, prepare project documentation and coordinate with other engineering disciplines
Conduct field reviews and complete construction administration (shop drawings, RFIs, CCNs, monthly draws, etc.)
Job Qualifications:
Candidates with a minimum of 10-15+ years experience are encouraged to apply
P.Eng
University degree in Mechanical Engineering
Familiarity with AutoCAD; experience with Revit and asset
Pro-active approach to work assignments and opportunities
Ability to multi-task and be organized, especially under the stress of deadlines
Strong leadership skills
Desire to work within a team environment and work across multiple offices
