Our client is looking for a Marketing and Communications Specialist to drive growth and opportunities for a team of engineers and designers. Working closely with the Marketing Director and Senior Executive team, the selected candidate will provide support in the areas of content marketing, internal and external communications, digital marketing (website and social media), event marketing, market research and other market-positioning initiatives. The ideal person will be a self-starter who is able to plan and manage marketing and communications campaigns independently, in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
Develop and coordinate marketing campaigns and programs
Create, develop and manage content for the corporate website and internal portals
Manage and drive social media content and strategy
Develop marketing content, including but not limited to collateral, thought leadership, emails, web content, award submission, presentation, and internal training
Plan and manage marketing events
Liaise with clients and external parties with respect to partnership and sponsorship commitment
Research and gather information for content development and business development initiatives
Maintain CRM and other marketing database
Job Qualifications:
3+ years marketing and/or communications experience in professional services
Strong digital marketing and social media expertise demonstrated in a professional environment
Confidence to provide information, support and recommendations to senior management
Solid Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook required)
Exceptional writing, proofreading and editing skills
Organized, detail-oriented and highly deadline-driven
Strong project management skills, and the ability to establish priorities, set and manage schedules, in order to coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff within the organization
A creative-minded individual who is capable to develop visually appealing format and layout
Ability to independently manage a varying workload
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Self-starter with the desire to develop their strategic marketing skillset and thrive professionally
Experience with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop preferred
