Construction Manager - Residential Homes

Guelph, ON

Our client in Guelph, Ontario is looking for a Residential Construction Manager to join their team! Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Plan, organize, monitor, and manage projects • Consult with clients, engineers, and architects regarding design specifications • Help create estimates and budgets • Choose and hire sub-contractors as needed • Ensure quality control and safety standards are being met • Monitor project progress • Conduct daily progress reports, and weekly project meetings Required Skills and Qualifications will include: • 8-10+ years of experience in residential construction management • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D • Knowledge and experience of electrical, plumbing, heating, and sewage lines • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams • Ability to create and track budgets • Experience understanding technical requirements • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proactive attitude • Ability to take initiative • Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products, including MS Project Our client strives to exceed industry standards.
