Our client in Toronto, Ontario is looking for an Active Transportation Planner or Engineer to join their team!

This individual will lead and contribute to area, corridor, and transportation master plans as they relate to Active Transportation (walking, cycling, etc.)

Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Conduct Transportation Master Plan studies
• Prepare documentation related to projects, including correspondence, reports, maps, proposals, specifications, consultation materials, and meeting minutes
• Liaising with an assisting other team members in relation to active transportation planning services
• Lead the preparation of functional and preliminary designs and construction cost estimates

Required Skills and Qualifications will include:
• Degree or Diploma in Transportation Engineering or Transportation/Urban Planning from an accredited institution
• 7-10+ years of experience creating Transportation Master Plans for Active Transportation projects
• P.Eng or RPP designation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be informed on current trends for active transportation and complete streets infrastructure
