Our client is looking for a Senior Manager, Professional Services – Project Manager to join their team in their Ottawa, Ontario office!

This individual will be accountable for the Professional Services overall Project Management process, initiating and implementing process improvements, change management, service delivery performance measurement and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Project Management Process
• Accountable for overall Professional Services Project Management process
• Manages Professional Services Projects Portfolio
• Accountable for supporting delivery of client obligations and achieving operational and financial metrics
• Promotes Professional Services collaboration and standardization

People Leadership / Client Relationship Management
• Manages the Bill Management Group.
• Develops and maintains effective relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and external contacts to support product line initiatives.
• Elevates the visibility of the Professional Services Product line within the organization

Process Improvement and Change Management
• Accountable for the ongoing review and improvement of processes, resources and tools.
• In collaboration with relevant stakeholders, reviews, develops and/or refines, standardizes processes, resources and tools to ensure ongoing continuous improvement.
• Facilitates best practices sharing.
• Communicates and trains relevant stakeholders on updated and/or new processes, resources and tools.
• Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to define data standards and utilization of data fields within Professional Services Toolsets.
• Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to continuously improve reporting capabilities.

Professional Services Standardization
• Performance Management, Reporting Analysis
• Accountable for key performance indicator performance monitoring, management, reporting and analysis.
• Compiles and analyzes financial, operational and key performance indicator data. Measures actual performance relative to established targets.
• Prepares performance reports including observations of performance gaps and trends. Leads the review of performance reports with project management team.
• Where performance gaps exist, researches and conducts analysis to determine root causes. Reviews and analyzes data to identify gaps and trends. Determines and recommends corrective actions. Develops actions plans to remediate performance gaps. Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to implement action plans to ensure KPI achievement.
• Conducts benchmarking studies and comparative analyses to support service delivery management and reporting

Business Development / New Client Transitions
• Provides recommendations and guidance for executing business expansion plans
• Collaborates with stakeholders on business pursuits. Provides subject matter expertise and input for proposals and RFP’s
• Liaises with External / Internal Stakeholder teams to for new Client on-boarding
• Attends relevant events in order to establish market presence and contribute to brand awareness

Required Skills and Qualifications will include:
• University Degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution
• 10+ years of experience
• Professional designation preferred
• Bilingual French-English
• LEED Accredited Professional designation or equivalent Certification, an asset
• PMI – Project Management Professional, an asset
• Strong project management skills
• Strong communication, influencing, persuasion and negotiation skills both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong facilitation skills
• Ability to adapt to new, different or changing requirements, quickly grasps new concepts, adapts and reflects on lessons learned
• Possesses a continuous improvement and quality mindset and seeks to continuously improve processes and incorporate best practices where applicable
• Advanced collaborative skills to work with cross functional teams in the delivery of strategic/key business projects
