Our client in the Mississauga/Toronto, Ontario area is looking for a Project Manager of Environmental Due Diligence Remediation to join their team!

This individual MUST have experience with filing Records of Site Conditions.

This individual will:
• Provide Project Management Functions for a variety of clients
• Participate in staff development
• Be the principal contact for specific clients

Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Oversee and manage Phase I II Environmental Site Assessments and remedial projects
• Participate in marketing initiatives to build new client relationships and maintain existing ones
• Meet with clients to determine their needs followed by the preparation of proposal and contract documents
• Perform project management duties on varied projects for a range of clients
• Enjoy a combination of field and office work
• Provide clients with advice on regulations and guidelines
• Assign junior staff to project work and coordinate work with other offices
• Provide technical assistance to employees
• Utilize experience with the financial aspects of project work – approval of bills, amendments, review of WIP, etc.
• Review the work of junior staff to ensure accuracy and quality; provide feedback where applicable to improve quality of work

Required Skills and Qualifications will include:
• Bachelor of Science or Applied Science, or Bachelor of Engineering from an accredited institution
• P.Eng. or P.Geo required
• 10+ years of experience within the environmental consulting industry
• 5+ years of experience directly in a project management position
• Experience in the completion and project management of work in support of filing Records of Site Condition in accordance with O.Reg. 153/04
• Experience in the completion and project management of due diligence Phase I and Phase II ESAs
• Experience in the completion and project management of remediation programs
• Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Professional presentation and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to proofread and edit the work of others
• Must possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Must possess familiarity with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of financial project related financial management
