Our client in Toronto, Ontario is rapidly growing and looking for a Municipal Engineer to join their team! This individual could be at an Intermediate or Senior Level.

Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Providing project engineering and technical expertise, modeling, analysis and design services on multi-disciplinary projects
• Managing of Municipal Engineering projects including financial controls, project management, managing client relationships
• Participating in studies, assessments, modeling, preliminary and detailed design, cost estimates, specifications, contract documents, tendering and contract administration
• Providing senior review and professional authentication of memos, reports, drawings and other engineering documents
• Preparing proposals and reports
• Liaising with clients, consultants, regulatory and utility agencies, and contractors
• Participating in Business Development initiatives
• Planning projects, developing accurate scopes of work, cost estimates, project plans, schedules and deliverables to execute high quality projects on time and on budget
• Working closely with engineers, designers, drafting and support staff
• Mentoring and coaching project teams including technical and field staff
• Supervision of junior engineers, technologists and designers

Required Skills and Qualifications will include:
• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
• 10-15+ years of experience in municipal and waste water consulting projects
• P.Eng or ability to register with PEO
• PMP preferred
• Planning, design and construction of watermain and sewer projects
• Stormwater management, water/wastewater treatment plants, and pumping station knowledge/experience will be considered an asset
• Hydraulic and Hydrologic modelling experience would be an asset
• Possess a strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients
• Experience or aptitude for meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, client development and other skills appropriate to consulting
• Proven capabilities in writing reports and other technical documents
• Excellent communications skills
• Good inter-personal skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team environment
• Extensive experience providing strategic advisory services related to municipal engineering projects and clients is required.
