Our client in the Markham/Toronto, Ontario region is looking for a Principal of Building Restoration and Rehabilitation to join their team!

Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Deliver and provide value to customers requiring building restoration, rehabilitation, or structural additions and redesigns
• Recognize, pursue, secure, and successfully manage building repair engagements that align the company’s knowhow with client needs
• Write technical reports, communication with clients, and give presentations
• Facilitate a collaborative and passionate environment for staff
• Contribute to an entrepreneurially founded organization that proactively educates, engages, and employers with customers
• Create long lasting relationships with clients and customers
• Deliver high level solutions at all project stages

Required Skills and Qualifications will include:
• Civil Engineering degree in a related field from an accredited institution
• 15+ years of experience
• P. Eng designation required
• PMP would be considered an asset
• Demonstrated superior planning, budgeting and project team management skills
• Have experience successfully hiring, managing, appraising and mentoring a team of senior and junior project managers in the provision of building restoration services
• Experienced in the knowledge and application of Ontario and national building codes and regulations
• Possess excellent technical report writing, communication and presentation skills
• Excel in an open and professional environment where value is delivered through flexibility, ingenuity, and pragmatism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
