Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Performing air pollutant emission rate calculations for air permitting, annual emission inventory reporting, and other licensing and reporting;
• Ensuring compliance with local, provincial, and federal air quality regulations;
• Evaluating emissions control technologies;
• Supporting dispersion modeling projects;
• Calculating greenhouse gas (GHG) emission rates and ensuring compliance with GHG programs;
• Conducting field work
• Providing on-site client support (corporate office or industrial facility)

Required Qualifications and Skills for this position will include:

• University degree (B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Eng., M.Eng.) from an accredited institution in the field of environmental sciences/engineering, earth sciences, or another related field
• A minimum of 10+ years of directly related experience in air permitting, emission rate calculations, air quality regulations, and compliance;
• Excellent writing, computational and verbal presentation skills
• Time management skills
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Knowledge of industrial processes (e.g. petrochemical, refining, power, upstream oil & gas) is preferred.
• Must have business development, client management/development, and work winning skills
