Our client a growing construction group with several ongoing projects in the GTA has an immediate need for an experienced HR Generalist with previous Construction Project Management experience. You must have knowledge human resources functions as it pertains to employee hiring, training, payroll and benefits administration.


? Conduct all hiring and orientation for all departments
? Main point of contact with head hunters for recruitment
? Filters applications
? Coordinates interviews
? Executes first interviews for some positions
? Compensation and benefits administration
? Responsible for maintaining positive employee relations
? Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns
? Policy development, documentation and distribution
? Responsible for performance management, including the annual review processes in conjunction with the Managing Director
? Assures feedback and follow-up
? Establish priorities and allocate the resources to ensure departments are fully staffed
? Responsible for all WSIB claims
? Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies, systems and processes
? Establish individual accountability using coaching and support and performance
? Assess operations staffing and skill requirements and develop plans to address hiring needs
? Ensure compliance with environmental policies, systems and processes
? Establish training programs
? Ensure all corporate reporting require

A university degree is required


The candidate must have a minimum of ten (10) years work experience in construction project management. Broad general experience, education and rotation through and exposure to several departments is preferred.
