Our client is seeking 2 Intermediate Electrical Engineers to join their operations in Red Deer, Alberta. If you have previous experience working as an Electrical Engineer in an Industrial/Manufacturing plant, than this exciting opportunity may be for you!

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Provide technical knowledge/guidance in the design and delivery of complex and technically challenging projects, including P&ID development (loop, elementary and interconnect drawings), specifications prep and selection of hardware/control systems.
-Establish the scope of work for construction projects, detailed drawings and cost estimates.
-Responsible for the application of engineering standards, codes and procedures.
-Responsible for the specification of instrument/electrical equipment.
-Attend project meetings with clients, project managers and other project members (technicians engineers, specialists and operations personnel).

Qualifications:
-Electrical Engineering Degree from a recognized University.
-P.Eng. or registration with APEGGA.
-5+ years electrical engineering maintenance or project experience in an industrial/plant environment.
-Demonstrated technical troubleshooting skills with proven record of success.
-Experience in the design specification, installation and connection methods of PLC and electrical equipment.
-Extensive experience with various electrical codes and standards (i.e. CSA, IEEE).
-Ability to work independently and in teams with other engineering disciplines and collaborate to achieve desired business outcomes.
-Ability to provide leadership on occasion.
-Strong written and oral communication skills: business writing, electronic communications and presentations.
-Exposure to MS Office suite.
