Are you a construction inspector with land development and municipal reconstruction experience? If yes, then consider the following Construction Inspector position:

Key Duties:

• Working on municipal reconstruction and land development projects (roads)
• Documenting and monitoring the performance of contractors on construction projects
• Ensuring proper construction methods and specifications are followed and met.
• Reviewing construction site materials to ensure they meet municipal and design specifications
• Preparing daily inspection reports, as-constructed reports, photo logs onsite.
• Writing monthly summaries of work completed by contractors
• Preparation of draft payment certificates
• Providing office assistance in preparation of contract documents.

Key Qualifications:

• A Civil engineering degree or diploma
• 3-5+ years experience in land development and municipal reconstruction
• Knowledge/understanding of local construction specifications and contract documents
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent verbal and writing skills
• A valid driver’s licence
